A Day at TMS
Every hour has
a purpose.
At TMS, no two days are identical — but every day follows a thoughtful rhythm that gives children the predictability they need to feel safe, and the variety they need to stay curious.
Daily Schedule
Morning
Morning Circle
The day begins together — reviewing songs, concepts, and welcoming each child into a warm, connected community.
9–10 AM
Snack Time
Social nourishment alongside physical. Children practice table manners, conversation, and care for one another.
Mid-Morning
Daily Focus
Rotating focus areas: ELA, art, math, science, and music — woven together through our weekly themed curriculum.
Mid-Morning
Structured Play
Independent and paired activities develop fine motor skills, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving.
10:45–11:45 AM
Lunch
A social experience that builds table skills, peer connection, and gratitude. Children help set up and clean their spaces.
12–2:30 PM
Nap & Rest
Individual cots provided. Restorative rest supports brain development, emotional regulation, and afternoon readiness.
Afternoon
PM Circle Time
Movement and story-time reconnect the group after rest. Children share, reflect, and re-energize together.
Afternoon
Independent Work
Fine motor, critical thinking, and creative skills take center stage in open-ended afternoon exploration.
2–3 PM
Afternoon Snack
A second snack break builds energy and social connection before the final stretch of the day.
End of Day
Free Play
Classroom exploration, friendship-building, and child-led discovery close each beautiful day at TMS.
Special Events

A spring parent-child performance celebrating every child's musical growth throughout the year.
